the north and midwest is a mess... no jobs , housing declining in value to 2 years ago levels... national city bank is saying that the housing in this area is actually down 6% this year in value of what it should be.... more repos in this area than anywhere in the country.. so pools in this area is a nonstarter.... as for growth in that area of the south... up from what.... the storm.... remember the baseline was lowered so that will skew the numbers also... also, ohio , indiana , illinois and michigan for example have more population @ 41million in those 4 states than all of ala, miss, la and florida combined with about 29.8 million....with the exception of the chicago market I am told the rest is not doing very good either... it is all in the eye of the beholder I guess... anyways going to some kind of core is a good idea in my opinion...
