That connectivity issue for Spooz largely has to do with the location of their offices. Guess the present lines, running into Spooz offices aren't what they need to run SWARM and such, so Spooz moved to CME for a more appropriate connection. Below are a couple of good posts about it.

That is what they did. They moved the trading to the CME on Wacker in Chicago. It has fiber optic.

You know, that is a stroke of genius. By being right there in the building with all those floor traders, it is not any trouble for them to deal with walk-ins who are interested in learning about the software. They may have not planned this, but it could not have been a smarter thing to have done if they had intended to have done it all along.
