Absolute Desperation As Price Goes Up:

The basher on the board accused the company of "lying" however what did he just post? His entire post was about one occasion where he found in advance about an order. And what does he present as evidence of this public notice of order? A press release from the organization that placed the order clarifying it was placed. His name calling of management as "liars" is misplaced. Especially since the source of his information came from the organization placing the order, not the company.

So, what is the timeline of this event which has him so terribly upset?

June 20, 2006 Mineseeker announces t 5,000,000

August 9, 2006 Conference Call: "Fourth, I'd like to emphasize the development of regional professional markets. Calypte is pursuing individual country markets in Africa, South Asia, and Latin America for the professional version of our Aware OMT Rapid Test. In aggregate, these markets are expected to grow by 10% annually; however, growth rates are higher in certain key countries and this is where the Company will focus particular efforts. The Company has already begun selling its HIV OMT Rapid Test in South Africa and you will be aware through our press releases that we have received our first order from the MineSeeker Foundation. That order we expect to total 1 million tests over the next 12 months, and we anticipate that will ramp up to 5 million tests annually. We intend to build on this humanitarian approach. These groups have a sincere interest in fighting HIV, AIDS epidemics, and have the funds to make it happen. It is well documented that diagnosing HIV is the key to controlling AIDS and reducing the prevalence and we believe, and MineSeeker has validated, the safety, ease of use of the non-blood tests like our Aware OMT tests is the perfect diagnostic tests for this market. In addition to South Africa, Calypte has approvals in Kenya, Malaysia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe. Calypte has also recently obtained USAID approval of the Aware HIV blood tests, which will be added to the USAID waiver list. The Company is also underway in qualifying for the USAID waiver list with its Aware OMT test. Being on that Waiver list, we believe further validates our product and qualifies both products - blood and oral fluid tests - for inclusion in the U.S. government $6 billion PEPFAR subsidized testing program."

September 28, 2006 Mineseeker places the information on their Sole of Africa website.

November 6, 2006 from the SEC report Calypte states: The
Mineseeker Foundation ("Mineseeker") has announced plans to use our HIV-1/2 Rapid OMT tests in a program it plans to begin in Sub-Saharan Africa later this year. We have received an order and cash DEPOSIT from an entity working with Mineseeker and have manufactured approximately 35,000 Aware TM HIV-1/2 OMT tests which we expect to ship during the fourth quarter of 2006 to their first location. This shipment is expected to inaugurate Mineseeker's announced program to test at least one million persons over the next twelve months. We believe
that cooperating with humanitarian organizations to help fight the HIV/AIDS pandemic in critical areas where we are obtaining regulatory approval, particularly in South Africa, will be an important trend in 2007 as we seek to achieve significant sales growth of our Aware(TM) HIV-1/2 rapid OMT test.

May of 2006 Conference call, Brounstein states orders are coming in from Russia.

July 13, 2007 Roger Gale states during an interview that orders in the amounts of 10,000 to 15,000 lots of tests are being received from Africa.

July 17, 2007 During Capstone Investors Meeting Brounstein stated projections of up to $5,000,000 in anticipated income this year.


Now, put the pieces of the puzzle together...

Clearly Calypte did not make the announcement until it came out from other sources. They repeated the information from other sources. They didn't confirm other source until they had an order. Obviously large orders would not be filled, paid for and delivered by the end of the first quarter, as only a deposit was made by mid November. Clearly, if the basher did, in fact, call, he would be requesting information that would be insider information and it would be inappropriate for Calypte to give information that wasn't made public as of yet.

So, Calypte did not lie as the basher stated. The basher has unrealistic expectations of receiving information that is in violation of policy and of SEC regulations. And it appears he is desperate for the information, as is most likely, the competition. And most likely, they are one and the same.
