I think, you nailed the single most important issue. "Trust"

For my time in the pinks, I have seen some weird crap. The best money I have made were on stocks that I could confirm (In my head) were scams, like SLJB, NDOL & CKYS. Seems like the ones that show some assets are the ones that get hammered.
Like TIDE, PBLS, LBWR, DWOG, SRGG. It is hard to decide if that list is just kind of like where CLL.TO & YRI.TO traded for years before showing any beef.
