Who's worried about "low metal prices"? This blip has nothing to do with worries over metal prices, but every thing to do with hysterical crisis du jour "worries" over page 1 story - sub prime and the potential "R" word in the US. If anyone is surprised by sub prime, they've been living in a cave. It's never page one stories that kill a market, but page 16.

And I never thought I'd ever read that with Cu @ $3.60, Zn @ $1.65, Pb @ $1.55, Mo @ $32, Ni @ $15, and on and on and on that people may be worried about the impact of lower metal prices. Honestly, I almost choked when I read it.

The Canadian dollar may have strengthened, but no where near in relation to metal prices and the astonishing earnings mining companies generate.

Just where in the world can you buy an entire sector trading at 1/3 to 1/2 the S&P average?

And you say "be careful"? Man, if you are worried about valuations in bm, you may as well get out of the market entirely, because it doesn't get any better.
