could have happened. Ever been in construction? On a shoe string budget? In what is now the golden age of construction? If I moved to Alberta I would make over $100/hr going back to electrical work and they would house me, feed me and in the winter I would work no more than 20 minutes per hour outside. Power plant construction in TX/LA is nutz and if you have NO experience in the Oil & Gas or Metals Engineering world and are fresh out of school, lets talk $80k - $120k the fisrt year.

And you get to be outside half the time and there is no such thing as PC on site, tool belts just drop and crap flies. I think there would be less office politics if this was the way things were in the steel & glass buildings.
