The real test will be holding gains post news. But then, there's a whole bunch of news in the pipeline, and IMO "money" does/will have a real interest in Hemi. Assuming longs hold most of the float, this has the potential to get real interesting. My little fantasy scenario for some point in the future: HGP (yes the symbol is available) listed on the AMEX, recent price $2.73, reports it has received multiple tender offers for its shares and is currently evaluating which, if any, offer is in the best interest of HGP shareholders. Initial indications suggest that these offers range from all cash to all stock with premiums ranging from 1.5 to 2.25 above current sp. Recent news from HGP that their proven reserves have exceeded 25 million boe seems to have been the trigger for these offers. Again, just my wild fantasy, but at least one that has some possibiliy to come true!
