yep, I could construct all sorts of plausible stories about the stock being priced to perfection, or a pre-earnings rise, or an after earnings drop, etc. And any of them might happen.

But, like you, I will probably just hold. Yahoo has the forward PE at 35, I just don't consider that stratospheric based on Apple's/Job's track record. I'm putting a little faith out there that Job's has things up his sleeve that no one else has even thought of yet.

'T' earnings are the day before - I assume they will be tight-lipped about iPhone sales (unless Apple announces that figure before the T earnings release).
