I have posted what Paul wrote and said about Iurie Bordian in an unbiased way. It's information, nothing more. I do not condone or deny his statement - it is what it is. It's also interesting background for his tale of the origin of the Telatinos short position.
Speaking for myself - If I were Iurie, and thought Paul or his hedgie noteholders were shorting my company into the gound, I would have reacted appropriately.
But obviously I am not in a position to know the truth of a situation that occurred in Moldova in 2003. If Iurie is indeed following this thread, I would love to hear his side of the story.
Regardless of the disposition of the two men, what I find a most interesting excerise is to put myself in Taylor's shoes....
--I got 67 million shares from Iurie and my broker shorted against them
--Iurie fired me and cancelled those shares
--Now I'm short with no box, I'm screwed, margin call screaming, to whom do I turn?
--What do I have offer in return for assistance?
I have two possible answers, would love to hear others.
