Several companies are evaluating the market and the techmology that would best serve the market. One company Energo, is committed to development of those markets with the intent to offer a line of prepackeaged indirect fired fired gas turnine generators sized from 200kW up to several Megawatts.
PGI is also developing a product (direct fired)small gas turbines). By using an inexpensive indigenous resource, biomass power systems reduce dependance on high cost imported fuels.
On a larger scale, Agrillectric, JWP Electric, and other companies have targeted the existing agricultural processing industry as potential power sources.....
I could go on and on, but I believe with you it might be a waste of time. So bottom line Tonyp is KNOW that of which you speak. The potential of this technology has hardly been scratched but we are fortunate to have found a company whose methods,product, and yields are vastly superior to existing conventional pyrolysis and gassification systems currently in use by private industry.
Think of the international market where Islands must import almost 100% of fuels....Hawaii included. Dont be so small minded and you will make some decent change with this one.
