I think people are disappointed because of the earlier time lines that were given by the company. In the 5/18 letter, Rees said closing both Team and Cementers in 6-8 weeks (end of June-mid July). Then, on 5/31, the PR about funding said still on track to close Cementers in the aforementioned time frame.
An intervening PR about an LOI to acquire a 3rd company said prospective closing late summer or early 3rd quarter.
Then, the 7/2 PR disclosing the signing of the definitive purchase of Team said closing in 3rd Quarter.
I think everyone expected that, at a minimum, the Cementers deal to have closed by now, given the timelines the company set out above.
Hopefully, over the next several weeks, we get a PR confirming that Cementers has closed, along with a PR of signing the definitive purchase agreement for the 3rd as yet undisclosed company, followed by closing of Team, and closing of the 3rd company. Extra tidbits would include sale of the leases on favorable terms and additional joint ventures/deals.
Still holding, but wishing I had sold and bought back in at a lower price.
