NEW YORK, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 18, 2007 -- Aurus Corp. (Other OTC:AURC.PK - News) announces that the due diligence has been completed and which was required in the purchase offer of all the outstanding shares for an all cash consideration. The contents of the ore deposits have been confirmed by the Ministry and have satisfied the party making the offer.

The president called a special meeting of the Board for April 24, 2007 in order to review the offer. The details of the offer shall then be disclosed at the close of that day's market.
