Sorry to post this but i don't think there ever was a buyout in the works. It was Monimpex and Parkin going to the well one more time. However it did not work as well as they expected.
Find out who exactly is the majoriety shareholder in AURC is the first question you have to ask.
Is it the Canadians or is it the Russians? However there really is no one to ask either on the Canadian or Russian side,is there?
2C was the only contact with the Russian side. Look how there is now direct contact by investors in NWOG. Its not perfect but its better then anything Aurus has.
The first order of business if you want to get answers is to establish a communication line with the Russians,without one your pissing in the dark.
Your best bet probably would be the head of the Krong subsidary.
