Well check out Esprit's site as they charge per transaction. But typically forex brokers profit from the spread in the currencies (anywhere from 2 to like 10 pips) like a bid and ask, the interbank dealers buy and sell, but have preferential prices, they buy high and sell low w/o price movement, so whenever a trader takes a position, they are already down the pip spread, so the market has to move in their favor whatever the spread is just to break even. Keep in mind Trillions trade daily so these dealers need volume. Because the volume and fluidity of the markets, there isnt set commissions that equity brokers charge.
