Anyone can go to the Home Depot website and see like you have presented that yes the nickel satin lock is out of stock......and you ask why? a little better dd on your part and you would understand the WORDS TOP SELLER a little better........just click on the link below..type in locks in the search box and then select TOP SELLERS from the drop down menu......

This is the reason why they are out of stock......its because they have been selling like hotcakes thats why.........the proof is right in front of your face on the Home Depot website..........TOP SELLERS.......TOP SELLERS...TOP SELLERS........now could kwikset/black and decker have understemitated the popularity of this lock? Sure....I would go with that........will they fix the problem and ramp production up to meet the needs or demands I would guess they would since they are the industry leader in lock sales I would imagine they are capable of handling whatever issues come up.......

Oh and as far as NOT on the SHELVES? Your DD is lacking in that area as well....I would stop relying on old DD if I were you and do some current research.......your information is not accurate..again........next..
