SEC to end short sale tick test on July 6, 2007 The SEC recently approved a rule change removing all price restrictions on short selling. Therefore, any security can now be sold short regardless of the last sales price or bid. This change is effective July 6, 2007. This doesnt look good for BB stocks! Especially ones that already have a short problem like GMXP. Why would the SEC deam this as acceptable??
