I concur, The TOOLBOX product has not had any technological advances for many years..little changes here and there but you can bet if dewalt/sequiam put out a product that is say weather resistant that the construction trades can use it will be HUGE! no more lost keys, no more someone cutting your lock off at the jobsite and stealing your expensive tools, the applications are limitless, job sites which have the big lock boxes or storage areas could use the biometric locks to program in only specific users who they want to have access........and what a great management tool as well.....you could see what time the boys went home and locked up the tools.....or if something comes up missing you can see who last accessed the toolbox or storage area....
and if someone quits who may be discgruntled employee etc..there is no asking for the key back anymore...simply delete that user denying them access.......
as for personal use toolboxes that would be huge as well.....this is getting fun and It appears they have many things in the works right now.........It would be nice to see the PPS be reflective of what is going on behind the scenes, patience for now and see what unfolds...and of course taking advantage of current PPS situation.....added at .115 last week...we will see if that was a wise move or not shortly.....
