I know the mods are trying to get back on track and discuss forthcoming events with the company but I couldn't help but notice this was one of your last post on this board with you removed as a mod presumably upon your request. I don't have pm access but I think it needs to be said publicly anyway.

This whole debacle is because this company wants to have an "open door" policy with it's investors to the nth degree to a fault in my view. Who ever heard of the IR department working late hours of the night to get timely pr's out much less answering emails and the phone well past normal working hours just to be accessible. Who would have ever dreamt that someone would have taken something that 99.9% would have regarded as light humor and brought it to IR's attention. What possible good would that do? We (all of us) really need to scutinize what is appropriate to take up their time with, in such a matter. All that'll due is alienate them when we need important clarification on issues.

Maybe my opinion doesn't mean much, but there's no reason for you to feel like the fall guy in all of this. What's done is done. That's how we learn. Whatever damage was done can be repaired. In this case being more reponsible when we discuss things with IR. Common sense needs to be applied some times.

The last thing I think needs to happen is for someone to feel dejected (based on unfortuante circumstances) without support from fellow posters.
