I read the chain of discussion and the De Vries rant sounded just like a crazy logic discussion on the SI AMD thread. At one time I thought De Vries was a knowledgable fellow particularly when he was writing about whether or not the P4 had 64 bit capability based on an examination of the die.

What does De Vries do for a living these days? Is he a paid shill for AMD?
