Happy 4th of July!
I think it's most important, especially at this point of the degree America helps the world, not to mention our former enemies.
When I was a kid growing up in NYC, made in Japan was bad, products from Europe, Asia were not our parents first choice.
When making a purchase based on "Made in America" meant something, when they and we tried our best to support the recovery of a nasty situation in Vietnam for my family and I anyway.
I was a little hesistant in buying into CVCP initially, then I thought of how we as America and Americans help support and create the new Japan, Germany, Italy, etc. etc. In my mind, for my time of being part of this big round globe, who is a better prospect to get the full support than Vietnam.
As much that will and can be done, will never, ever make good for the horrific reception our veterans were subjected to upon their return to the US of A as Heros in fact.
My Dad fought in WWII, trust me I know every encounter.
Grab your wife and your kids and give them a big hug and kiss and explain why they celebrate this day... Independence Day and what it is to be free. Then to share that same sentiment with all of their friends and family.
As Americans, we do not divide by race, color, creed, choice of worship instead by belief we all can live and prosper together.
