"Nothing smells regarding his intentions as far as I'm concerned, Gandalf & CTB."

OK Joe5p. You showed up two days ago - Baloonman showed up two weeks ago. Fairgame showed up on June 8.

Now Joe, you are saying that Baloonman is a "logical choice" to represent the shareholders down in Mineral wells?

Hmmm.

I didn't say anything "smelled" as far as Baloonman's intentions. But something's up. He uses the word "instigate" - and that's about right. He's been instigating since Day One. The longs should IMO be circumspect and extremely cautious about what Baloonman is trying to accomplish, and what his agenda is. He says, however, that he has no agenda.

First there was Chris Sanders, and then comes Baloonman.

I wonder if Baloonman is Chris Sander's proxy in a fight to replace the BOD.

My position is this. Until the company responds with something we can sink our teeth into, we are collectively like blind men describing an elephant.

JC said this, CB said that. The company has said nothing materially about this proposal.

As a long for over two years, I am used to waiting. It's the AMEP drill - no pun intended.

Baloonman shows up a few days ago, and I am told repeatedly I must take action, and take it mighty quick.

Baloonman's sudden appearance and rash of recent posts concern me in that they call for immediate action - before we have heard from the company.

Taken as a whole, his comments have my eyebrows raised. What follows are comments which I believe highlight his "agenda." These comments are taken from separate posts over the last several days.:

"Patience is a virtue at times, but it's a curse if you're a frog in a kettle of water that someone has put over the fire. Action is long overdue regarding AMEP shareholders influencing the direction of OUR company. Is Sanders, or someone else, going to lead the way for his benefit because WE aren't doing it to protect OUR own best interests? Talk to us, Joe."

"Looks like many others may be waiting to see what the big voices (pumpers?) do before they can make up their minds"

"Regarding my 'ultimatum', it's not a date on which any particular thing will happen or a date on which I will do something alone, it's only a potential starting date for a large group of shareholders to begin a process, if so desired. It's something I chose to try to instigate, will participate in if it happens, but have no interest in or adequate skill & knowledge to consider leading."

"Is everyone who's still got shares just going to hold on and bitch once in a while to show they're alive, or does anyone else advocate taking action? If so, what? I'll shut up and disappear if no one else cares beyond the point of pumping, bashing, bitching or trying to show how smart they are."

"At the very least the BOD should get the boot if not CB, too, unless they do an immediate public turnaround. Don't hold your breath."

"How long can he/they milk us? Even a blind person could 'see' there's no reason to trust JC or wait for a zebra to change its stripes."

"There's no good reason to be patient with deceit."

"I continue to be amazed at how long shareholders are willing to wait given the history of the AMEP management, especially when there's a possibility to influence the actions of the company now by presenting a strong, unified shareholder voice."

"So... are you and others going to support a clear move now? Or do you suggest some other clear plan of action? Or will you and the currently silent majority continue waiting and doing nothing cohesive, hoping the chips will somehow fall in your favor all by themselves?"

"The only way the shareholders can assure having clout is through collective action, starting now."

"We either call their bluff with force, or bend over further and continue to accept whatever happens."

"Acting together we can have major influence."

"Waiting for management any longer or waiting for someone else to write a letter seems counterproductive at this point IMHO."

"Nelderand / Joe, it's overdue for you to share with the people you asked information from (# of shares, yes or no vote on RS) whether or not you've drafted a letter to or already communicated with management regarding the RS and other issues affecting shareholders."

"Joe, what's up with the letter to management? Did you write it?"

"WTF? CB's attempting to rob us blind, but he's not a crook? And for some reason we're supposed to believe Johnny's a great guy, while he's robbing the stockholders, just because he teaches Sunday school? Yeah, right. And kids are always safe with adults when they're in a church!"
