Joe P - thanks for spending time putting your thoughts out here for all to read. Also thannks to all the other posters (bgad, balloonman, slipperywing, contractor, sabre, and many others) who have taken the time to call or write to AMEP management, or are in some other way trying to do the right thing.
Well, "the right thing" to me is, to act as owners and influence the direction of the company in order to maximizes shareholder value while considering other important stakeholders, and that will most importantly include voting the proper make-up of the BOD. I am extremely unhappy with the current BOD and cannot believe I've heard things mentioned from management like the CEO deserves 50% or 100% of the company. WTF!
Joe P, I agree a face-to-face meeting is the best course of action, I fully support this. I really like your idea of having the ownership nformation documented before the meeting and especially the conference call dial-in. I also beleive I could help set up a downloadable pdf file "affidavit of ownership" that could be signed and faxed to someone we all designate. There are quite a few posters here I could trust with that info. Or alternatively, perhaps we could find a law firm that would act as independent third party for collecting the information and getting it back to whomever may represent us to management (I don't thin k we need the law firm, would prefer if we do this ourselves).
