don't worry, i am reading the wonderful posts on RB now also. you don't need to coax me into the conversation by mentioning that serf told "danny" this or "danny" that.
for the record, i was contacted by Frank via email first. i was asked by chef to ask serf to talk to him, so, i asked ol serfy via email to contact frank, since the old man was insisting he needed to talk to him. i did not question why, nor did i care much to know. well, wait...i do know.....back then, chef had a real beef with a guy named Jon M. (not jon miller) and he thought "serfdom" was Jon M. chef wanted to clear things up with serfy to be sure he was not this other guy.
after a few attempts to ask serf to contact frank (i meant by email to tell the old man that he WAS NOT JM), serfy yelled at me on RB (this was in february i think)...let me see if i can find it
EVEN, give me the link back to the RB from old.
I then told serf i was sorry, but i was just trying to calm down the stupidity that was occuring on the board so we can talk about telatinos and not Jon M. At the time, I thought the DD was flowing, but that this crap was hindering our effort.
i now realize that it was all bullcrap....including the DD effort. just like Serf's sig says "good companies are obvious, extensive dd keeps you in a bad stock"...or something like that.
which is totally true. extensive DD should not be something that needs to happen, the info should be there for all to see to be able to make a sound judgement on your investment.
i was caught up in the hype. i admit it all...i was caught up in the damn hype.
