Great, Some Positive News. Now How will this effect the Re- Valuation if at all is anyone's guess. Here we can clearly see that the cost of GASOLINE in Iraq for the LOCALS vs INCOME is absurd-
--------------------------------------------------
" Explaining the deplorable living conditions many Iraqis are currently experiencing, Thamer Rashid, a government employee, told VOI, "We buy 20 liters of gas for 30,000 Iraqi dinars (24 U.S. dollars) (a month) to drive a generator at home," noting that he receives a monthly salary of 200,000 dinars (160 U.S. dollars).
------------------------------------------------------------
AND AGAIN HERE-------
Kareem Hattab Jaafar, the general director of the Oil Products Distribution Company, told VOI earlier that starting July 1, 2007, "premium gas will be sold at 450 Iraqi dinars per liter (36 U.S. cents) and regular gas for 400 dinars (32 U.S. cents), while prices of other oil derivatives will remain the same for the time being."
-------------------------------------------------
Now I don't know the Difference between a LITER and a Gallon
But I know Gas is a lot Higher here in the states, and I believe in Canada.Anyone from Canada please correct me if I am wrong. But the point I am trying to make in my own Bumbleing way IS I DON'T think a Re Valueation in our favor is coming any time soon.JMO. I welcome all Rebuttals. Rick c
