Thanks for the reply.
We have used robots in the past to blast the paint off ships. They are quite efficient when they work but at the moment foreign labour is still cheaper. What would swing it would be environmental policies banning the present method of grit or UHP blasting or an increase in the price of labour. In this case the robots would be the only way to go and really open the market for environmentally friendly methods. I'll do some checking out of this company and come back with what I find. Now might be a good time to get in on the bottom floor though.
