The CNBC report on the 'iPhone disected' reported that Apple was making no long term agreements with any of the component manufacturers but instead would continue to be looking for the best price and performance combination for next generation products. Nothing earth shattering there, but leaves the door open for Silverthorne in '08. So far it seems that Samsung is the biggest revenue winner (other than Apple) on these devices. Samsung making either $52 or 76 in revenue per device depending on the version.
