Which means, I gather, that the company can remove the legend at its discretion and at any time for those holders it wants to benefit.
If this is accurate, then as you said: where's the risk to anyone in favor with the company? Especially when the CEO is an SEC-savvy lawyer who knows the SEC wouldn't get involved.
