Possibility for what? DNAP already has the means and vision to become successful. Now they have to actually do it.

I remember when the word "wireless" was all the rage several years ago, Jeb had a plan to transform Palm Beach into a major telecommunications hub. Now its biotech.

IMO the "build it and they will come" mentality that a lot of states have is very suspect. It seems like every state has at least one municipality with a similar initiative. I know we have one in Portland that seems DOA.

Small startup biotechs are highly dependent on larger biotechs and pharmaceutical companies. The chances of attracting enough of them to create a hub is slim, IMO. And even if they did, the chances that they would offer a meaningful impact to local employment seems even slimmer given their small size.

Some minority of biotechs are hellbent on going it alone and DNAP is one of those. But a state can't justify helping out just one company like that.
