So Intel WILL have some silicon in the iPhone albeit flash memory...

Intel is one of Apple's suppliers for NOR flash memory, inside one of the very hottest consumer electronics devices of the decade. Our product is a tiny chip, barely larger than the fingernail on your pinky. It's part of the Intel Flash Memory (W18) product family and provides 32 megabytes of storage.

Perhaps this will evolve into the use of Silverthorne in 2G or 3G versions of the iPhone or is Silverthorne still too hot for use in this type of device?
