NewMarket Technology, Inc., Subsidiary, IP Global Voice, Inc., Signs Contract for Installation of Managed Wireless LAN Network
Evergreen School District Located in San Jose, CA to Utilize 3Com's Enterprise-Class Wireless Mobility System
DALLAS – June 28, 2007 -- NewMarket Technology, Inc. (OTCBB: NMKT) today announced that the company's subsidiary, IP Global Voice, Inc. (IPGV), has signed a contract for the installation of a managed wireless LAN network for the Evergreen School District located in San Jose, CA. The project is already underway and is scheduled to be completed by September 2007. IPGV will implement 3Com's Wireless LAN Mobility System throughout 20 district locations. The system offers enhanced standards-based security, mobility and centralized control and management.
The wireless network being installed offers greater network utilization, improves efficiency, increases security effectiveness and provides content filtering. The funding for the project was provided by the passing of a November 2006 bond issue by voters.
Evergreen School District, established in 1860, is located in the Evergreen Valley along the foothills of Mount Hamilton in San Jose, California, and the world famous "Silicon Valley." Evergreen School District consists of thirteen thousand students in eighteen schools staffed by eleven hundred employees.
