The DOJ didn't disclose anything in the news, we found out about the Jefferson Box because it was on the list of boxes taken from ERHC's office that was disclosed on Court Documents. Also, its quite possible that the DOJ came in with a bunch of pre-labled boxes so as their search team grabbed everything they would have a place to put any Jefferson files they came across, its quite possible that the box was empty. LOL Anyways, I've always felt based on Jefferson's connections to Wilson that there is a good possibility he might've been involved with ERHC pre-Offor, however, the fact that ERHC wasn't mentioned in the indictment, and the fact that the South African oil company trying to gain access to rights in the JDZ occurred in 2001, 4 years after ERHC had already secured enormous rights in the area, I think it speaks volumes that ERHC was not named in the indictment and any evidence that Jefferson lobbied for ERHC found by the DOJ was extremely shaky at best. JMHO
