tharmon, that's just awesome. historical battlefield and seabattles areas have lot's of interest with vets and their dependents. now, the last of our vets from a lot of the past conflicts are dwindling each day, the families of those vets are making the trek to see a glimspe and perhaps imagine of what their parents and or grandparents may have experinced. i have not done any of the normandy sites but will do so someday or perhaps this summer depending on the passport issue, lol; and where we decideto go... i have the use of an open aptmnt in olso as well as a guest house and hr from there and my wife and i may do a baltic type trip... have a fun and exciting trip.
