Yes they are diving the Ledge site and the mermaids have apparently left a Tuna crumb trail, but if it takes the FKMS a few months or longer to grant the recovery permit I say full speed ahead to DR and start hauling it up, and receiving the booty a month later, at least that was my take on the DR situation. If Deep Blue put that phantom pay roll on the deck today, funds could be available by August. On the other hand if they find something on the ledge, they still have to map, log, photo and whatever else before they can even file for the next permit. Once again that is my take on the situation. The DR just sounds like a quicker route to revenue to me. But STILL work that thar ledge everyday that ya can, but seen as though there are only two divers that can dive that site, split the Crew in Tew, and send one south with what it takes and keep the ledgers swimming. By all means keep the ledge going. But for all that we know they have something from the ledge and are working towards the permits and just cannot say. As well as looking at the taint tween Kirby and the Ledge while the boat is getting ready for the southern trip.
