You mean back in the old Socket-370 days? I remember this being a reasonably popular configuration, due to the desire for more responsiveness in multi-tasking environments. Of course, the need for this was soon rendered unnecessary once Intel released Hyperthreading, and later dual cores started arriving. But I'm sure the old purists were still sore about the lack of dual Celeron SMP. I guarantee you that you'll never see those again.
