Hey phil I own both also... I also have a 93 Ford E-250 van straight six with 264,000 miles on it great vehicle. My pride and joy is a 66 Chevy Impala SS convertible completely restored like new... 80,000 original miles but really only about 300 since new suspension, totally rebuilt engine (327), New disk brakes etc etc Pretty close to a frame off...
My wife drives a volkswagen Beetle Turbo diesel. it has also been a good car and gets almost 50 mpg on the highway...
I have been very lucky with all my cars..
