OT: Let me preface this as not an attack on anyone or any company. It is just a former Consultant speaking outloud.

Comparing a discussion forum to a trading platform/ecommerce site that is just in its infancy......I will be nice. :P

Just from the stand point of ihub. This place probably gets its fair share of traffic, and I see it is on multiple servers, but how much traffic is the Panamersa site getting in comparison? Remember it is in its infancy here. The site just got out of beta testing on the software side. Maybe they should have done load testing too. From what I have seen, the traffic between here and the Panamersa trading platform has a huge load difference. More people here. Given that this place would crash more often. Hence my comments.

For the record I run sites; from discussion forums (one with an average of 3k users at any give time) to blogs to ecommerce to adult content. Two of my largest forums are spread across 4 servers and a "mirror" is running on the west coast for that just in case the NY datacenter pipe goes down. My adult content sites are on a total of 6 servers with the same fall over but to the east coast.

Yes, I am anal when it comes to my sites and keeping the content up and available. I had 1 period of 5 minutes of DT and that was only due to lag in setting the mirror active.

As I have said. I hope they actually do some upgrades to facilitate the projected usage. BW and Server loads will get large.

Ok enough offtopic here. Please dont see the above as anything other than comment.

I want my darn shares in paper from Aturd and ST already so I can get my hands even further into the pdr game. :)
