[OT] E*Trade just patched an "enhancement" for Power E*Trade Pro that is unable to read my saved layout page, which I had spent a lot of time creating.

The tech-support rep first said my layout file was corrupted, but that’s not the issue because the patched application cannot even read a backed-up version of the file. In other words, the patch made the application incompatible with prior layout files! When I pointed this out, the rep apologized profusely and said, “Yeah, this sometimes happens when we update the software but we don’t know why.” He then asked me to email him my layout file so they could use it for debugging!
