Star, Pappy......as Andy used to tell Barney, "that's the way friends do one another". Seriously, a nice, spirited debate that did not denigrate into full blown muck and mire as so many do. Our political leaders, and much of the country could learn a lesson here.
Back to stocks.... Star, I know you frequent a board that has discussed fertilizer stocks. Let me just say that I have done research and know some folks who have done more research into this arena and this is going to be huge. For example, check the long term contracts being signed by AGU for uninterrupted fertilizer supply because of different governments racehorse quest to grow corn and other grain for both ethanol and other bio-diesel fuels. I say this with total sincerity, AGU could well return 40-50%/year for the next decade. And no, I ain't drinking corn squeezin's as I write this. I own 400 shares; I'm planning on buying at least 200 more. It's running right now like Brig's proverbial headless chicken. POT is another stock that merits serious consideration. I don't own that one yet; but I plan to in the near future.
And Pappy, if you run for Prez, you will get my vote:) Nobody else from either party right now is worthy of that. Screw 'em, feed 'em a fish head.
