He probably would not be so bad if you could talk to him in person, but without having to worry about answering to anyone (with the anonimity of message boards)some people forget how to act.
Since no one can confront them they just spout off.
Kind of like the "know - it - all" bully in school, they just keep on until someone stands up to them and kicks their butt.
