I am a shareholder of PREMIER LASER SYSTEMS, INC. (PLSIQ) and was wondering if you could give me an update on the status of our Liquidation or put me in contact with somebody who can.



Is the liquidation still taking place?



Was there already a distribution to shareholders? If so, do you think the shareholders will get any further distributions?

Response:
"As you may know, the general unsecured creditors have been paid in full with the exception that this group of creditors is owed about $650K of interest. Once the interest is paid off (or I may say if the interest is paid off), I will turn my attention to the shareholders.

We have several irons in the fire to generate the funds necessary to pay off the creditor interest (without any guarantee that it will be accomplished). These include patent infringement litigations and settlements that involve the general surgery lasers.

I am also holding about 3 million shares of stock of SurgiLight, a company that purchased the ophthalmic laser patents. It is not clear whether this stock will be made available to the PLS shareholders or it may be used to make the interest payments to the PLS creditors.

I don't have a timetable for going forward. Candidly, I though all of this would be wrapped up by now, but the litigation is taking longer than we anticipated. It is an element that I cannot control.

Bottom line there is a slim and distant chance that you could receive something in the future for your PLS shares, but it is problematic and quite distant. I hope this helps. RPM "
