Ya got me all wrong. the only thing I take seriously is Mr. Grim Reaper and that's only because I figure I'll be introduced to him one of these days when I'm least expecting it.
Sure glad I'm not one of those people you are referring to ...the ones in the late sixties living in California. Personally, I'm in my mid 70's but I AM unfortunate enough to live in the most populous state.
I have never seen so many people who are so distraught regarding an investment gone bad. What ever happened to just taking a loss, admitting you were wrong and getting on with it ? Those days are long gone I guess.
I just miss the old days when, if you had a disagreement with someone, you just took the old peacemaker out of the drawer, strapped it on and settled things in a more appropriate way rather than sitting behind a monitor and type in all sorts of scurrilous remarks. It's hard to think that some just cower behind anonymity and peck out chicken livered threats. Oh well, such is life in the society that thinks Beavis and Butthead is comedy !
