OBO-1 Was "Not' one of the 13 prospects reported by ECL.


"Pre-drill consultant engineers ECL identified 13 prospects
with total mean recoverable reserve potential of 3.8 Bn bbl and
a risked mean of 1.2 Bn."

"The well seems to us to have achieved what it set out to do.
On the other hand, we have no guide as to how big Obo is,
since it wasn’t among the prospects listed by ECL."

"Our guess is that it isn’t huge… For example, using a 10sq
km closure and scoping estimates of oil saturation, porosity,
etc, gives a recoverable reserve of around 200m bbl. At this
level, it may just about make a viable subsea tie-back to
Akpo.”


200 million barrels and not even one of the original prospects.

Sounds very good to me.
