actually what happen I think is what tda told me... most broker houses such as yours, etrade, all of them... sometimes when r/s accures, they will issue "fake" shares untill they rcv the "real' shares from the co... I think they issued you your temp shares, saw the issue with the co. and took them back... tda does not issue fake shares I found out today even with my margin acct/lol basturds!.. anyway, I was also told that those of BOA, and Sefltrade who had rcvd their fake shares and have already sold.. could be at risk if the real shares never get passed out (meaning the sec said hell no the company is shut down for good) then they who sold will have to basicly give the money back or cover the position... GL this is a mess!
