Also, did you people see this past Wednesday around 2:30, I was watching CNN live and the Big Oil interest production numbers came out... Cnn actually had a countdown and anchor people pushing through the crowd shoving mic's in peoples face's... hilarious... The real news was weirder still, refinery production was up to 89+ operational (they said less than 70% just weeks ago..), surplus supplies was over 1%, reserves are full? Change over was done (winter to summer recipe) ..... oil rigs sitting idle. Sooooo ..
the barrel prices and retail gallon plunged on this good news to us.. RIGHT? WRONG ... barrel jumped a buck within minutes of that broadcast and stopped around 67 (from 64) by eod. Retail gallon went to 2.25 from est. 2.10.....
Sheesh.
Apparently Energy has its own rules of supply and demand and none of it makes sense to the retail trader.... at least not me!
I'm hoping this was a last greed grab by the unregulated hedge fund pig troughs out there and big oil trying to sell off cheaper oil to its refineries at the last second....
