I'm thinking just the opposite. If it is true that we have doubled the o/s in order to more than double our holdings and, hopefully, much more than double our net profits, we are in great shape. After all, we know we are a real company making real profits and now, whether we like the number or not, we know the real share count.
I think just as we wondered why we were falling the past three days we'll soon be wondering why we keep rising after a doubling of o/s. There's a lot to be said for putting the "uncertainty factor" to bed.
I think we move past the six cent mark, making the preffered deal largely moot.
