The more hounding, the less chance a claim holder has of getting things done. I am sure Mr. Berman is aware of this. Are you?
The approval process takes time and I do know that in reality that it takes more time than you could possibly imagine.
Take time and call the BLM, National Forest Service(not the National Park Service, they can't help you), the State of Utah EPA or whatever they call it there, the EPA, the Bureau of Mines(Fed Gov), and in the process they will give you numerous other agencies to speak with. Call them all then give us a report.
Been there done that MANY years ago and the basic regs have not changed that much and also the time frame has increased quite a bit.
Anyone on this board, I challenge to go stake a simple placer gold mining claim. A lot tougher than you think.
