And he will be. In my mind, the success of the test is a foregone conclusion, and once an actual product is available it will sell like wildfire, with no (okay, few) PR's necessary.

But I think my point may have gotten lost in the analogy. What plans does BOOCX have to manufacture this test strip? Until they are ready for these to be produced en masse, it doesn't make sense to overly (remember, I said catch-22) publicise themselves. They'd spend more time dealing with the demand than with refining the technology.
