A while back (maybe a year ago already...geez time flies), I had emailed a group called "The Canary Foundation" (http://www.canaryfoundation.org/), and the person I corresponded with (one of the founders) didn't seem overly impressed with the specifity and sensitivity of RECAF. He thought they had a better test for detecting breast cancer.
I get the impression that its so ingrained into researchers to just look at their speciality that when something comes along that spans several areas (different types of cancer), they don't have the vision to understand it.
