Then why didn't they SAY THAT?? They were pretty specific about the R/S, and how many shares there are, and the ratio, etc... When it came to the dividend, NOTHING. That is why I am not betting on anything like what you think. It may MAKE sense, and would be FAIR, but this is the pinks, and you gamble, and you lose.
