Alzheimer patients are a strange breed. My Uncle suffered from this and it proved to be quite a burden on the family. I saw my cousins struggle with the decision to have him confined against his will. Very trying times for the families involved. To have a loved one still with you yet at times be so distant really torments the entire family. Anything the big pharmas can do to lessen such pain would be a welcome discovery.
